• This book is an excellent and comprehensive resource. I recommend buying it even before your puppy comes home, as it is chock full of information to help you prepare to welcome this precious new addition to your family. Her emphasis on choosing a good breeder is spot on and perhaps the most important choice you will make to ensure that you bring home a healthy happy Cavapoo (thank you Petit Jean Puppies!). She definitely hits the nail on the head with her description of the Cavapoo personality and behavior - understanding these traits will set you up for success with your puppy. Our Cavapoo Huck will be two this June - this comprehensive volume has already taught us things we didn't know and will be a great resource when we get Huck a new little Cavapoo friend!
• Wow! This book had a lot of useful information for our Cavapoo puppy! Each topic that is relevant at this stage- grooming, crate training, potty training and feeding were all included in the handbook along with so many other topics that I know will be useful as the years go by. Also, I love all the real life examples in the book from other Cavapoo owners. Great resource guide- I would recommend it for all Cavapoo owners!

Chock-full of in depth, educational information, this is a must read for anyone considering a Cavapoo or for existing Cavapoo owners like me. I've had my Cavapoo for 2.5 years and still learned so much from this amazingly comprehensive handbook. This resource covers everything you need to know from finding a reputable breeder, Cavapoo personality traits and health considerations. The best part of this book is the examples and experiences provided by various Cavapoo owners and Cavapoo experts alike. Highly recommend for anyone considering a Cavapoo and for existing Cavapoo owners. This is the best resource I have come across and I did a lot of research on Cavapoos before getting my puppy.
• Finally an authoritative handbook for our favorite dog mix around, the cavapoo. Great for someone interested in getting one, as well as for someone who has one and is looking for insights into the unique nature of their cavapoo. There's very little published info out there about this relatively new hybrid, so to have a book this large specifically on them is a great resource. While some of the info is universal to all dogs, there were so many a-ha moments in here for us that we identified and could relate to specifically about our cavapoo(chon). Whether you get the book or not, definitely get a cavapoo, we love ours!!
• If only I had this book three years ago! It is chockfull of amazing information about amazing Cavapoos. This book feels like a love letter to both the Cavapoo and its owner. But beyond the love lie many, many facts and a richly researched trove of information. Unlike many dog handbook series, this book doesn't have that copy & paste feel that many do. You will find it to be a terrific resource for your many specific Cavapoo-related questions and/or concerns. The author dives deeply into the history of both breeds that combine to breed Cavapoos, and explains the behavior of the resulting pooch with those pedigrees' traits in mind. Expanding on her own research, the author wisely incorporates the experience of three different well-respected breeders who provide even more background information and anecdotes. Beyond the great information, you will be tickled by the photos throughout. If you weren't sure you would be getting a Cavapoo before getting this book, one skim through the pictures and you'll be making your plans. Great book - so glad to have it on our shelf now for when we have questions about our Chili!
• Great resource for any puppy owner! Also very breed specific advice for cavapoo owners! From purchasing from the best breeders to training, grooming, health issues and elderly care. I'm a breeder and this is will go home with our cavapoo pups!!
• What a terrific handbook, a MUST HAVE for so many reasons. A comprehensive in-depth look at both breeds (Cavalier and Poodle). Although I had already researched my breeder online, the strategies and information on selecting a breeder are informative and anyone considering this breed should definitely purchase this handbook before they start the process. Along with breeder information this handbook eloquently describes Cavapoos personality and is spot on with information about daily care, feeding, training and how to enjoy your new Cavapoo.
• The author, Linda Whitman, has done an amazing job with this Cavapoo handbook. The book is well organized, thoughtfully written, and very informative. A must have for future Cavapoo families and families who already have a Cavapoo.
